“Mr. Ambrose followed up promptly, visited our home and provided an assessment and quotation. He took the time to sit down with my wife and me and explain the System 2000 and how it would work in our house, as well as how it compared to other alternatives. We decided to proceed; Ambrose Mechanical installed our System 2000 the first week in February. There was initially a problem – the pump was defective and not sending the water through our baseboard heaters adequately – but Mr. Ambrose came back immediately (on a Friday evening, working until midnight!), diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Since then, the system has run perfectly.
Not enough time has passed to evaluate how much we are saving, but we have received one immediate benefit: more than enough hot water! In the winter, when the incoming water is very cold, our prior hot water heater could support at most two showers in the morning before needing 30-40 minutes to regenerate. That was a real challenge for a household with four daughters! But now we can all take our morning showers without concern: there is just as much hot water for the last person as for the first.
